The works were an extensive refurbishment of the existing store, which involved Earthquake strengthening, a new 2-storey office fit-out construction, seismic upgrade of services, new suspended ceiling throughout the building, new electrical fittings, and emergency lighting installation.

The store remained open during the fitout works and required extensive coordination throughout the works in the deli, bakery, and retail areas.

The programme was challenging due to the store continuing to trade throughout the works. We established a programme that included the use of Site Management on night shift, and were able to deliver the works in the required timeline by the client.
